As the Certified Exit Planning Advisor community continues to grow and Exit Planning Institute offerings expand, the EPI team has grown significantly to surpass the needs of the exit planning community.

With over 4,000 CEPAs in the marketplace, 25 chapters in our national EPI Chapter Network, and an expanding selection of courses within our EPI Academy, Exit Planning Institute continues to be the authority in exit planning. EPI has added two new members to our expanding team to continue serving our advisor community.

Meet the newest additions to the Exit Planning Institute team below!

Rhonald Houston

Rhonald Houston began his career with EPI in June of 2023 as a Business Development Manager. Rhon has an extensive background in Business Development roles and brings that expertise to our team. He works with top advisors from diverse disciplines and provides insights into the exit planning process for our prospective CEPAs.

Just like developing an effective exit planning strategy for a transitioning owner, EPI recognizes that adding exit planning to your firm’s strategy is not “one size fits all.” This is why Rhonald, alongside the EPI Business Development team, helps new and prospective CEPAs understand the marketplace opportunity and how it fits into your firm’s current service model. Rhon shares, “I enjoy connecting with different advisors, learning from their stories, and sharing how the CEPA credential can be a huge differentiator for them in the industry.”

Fun fact about Rhonald: Rhon enjoys spending time with family, watching documentaries, and competition in almost anything!

Paul Matas

Paul Matas is one of Exit Planning Institute’s Member Experience Representatives. He began his career with EPI in June 2023. Paul is a key member of the EPI team and serves as the primary point of contact for many of our CEPAs. Paul ensures our clients leverage ongoing support, resources, training, and events to enhance their exit planning practices.

Paul is deeply committed to connecting challenges with solutions for CEPAs, leveraging extensive expertise in client relationship management. He enriches the EPI team and our broad network of CEPAs with his valuable knowledge. Paul shares, “The culture is outstanding at EPI! Every one of my new colleagues is a high-character individual and that makes it easy for me to want to contribute towards EPI’s continued success.”

Fun fact about Paul: Paul enjoys travel and has a bucket list of places he would like to visit including Europe and Australia.
