Experiences, people, and innovation took center stage at the 2025 Exit Planning Summit, which was held from May 4 to May 6, 2025, at the Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. Here’s a quick overview of everything you might have missed during the 2025 Exit Planning Summit.
These special learning opportunities included workshops such as “Mastering the Triggering Event” led by Exit Planning Institute® (EPI) CEO Christopher Snider, a “Women in Exit Planning Symposium," and more.
Twenty-minute Resource and Solution Labs were quickfire ways for attendees to learn and absorb exit planning concepts. Hosted by industry leaders, these flash-learning opportunities covered a wide array of topics from various exit planning tools to philanthropy to taxes and more.
This year’s keynote, hosted by EPI President Scott Snider, Legacy Motor Club Co-Owner and NASCAR Alum Jimmie Johnson, and Lincoln Property Company Senior Executive Vice President Johno Harris, focused on crafting championship legacies. Alongside the keynote, other mainstage sessions provided ample opportunities for attendees to expand their Value Acceleration Methodology™ expertise.
On Monday, CEPA and EPI Thought Leadership Council Member Justin Goodbead took the main stage to share his eight-figure exit story, emphasizing how crucial it was for him to shift his mindset to fully embrace this expansive growth in just 49 months. This session provided attendees with the opportunity to learn firsthand from someone who not only understands the process of Value Acceleration but also practices it every day.
On Tuesday evening, EPI Circle of Excellence member and CEPA John Warrilow shared a world premiere of exclusive research on business owners' mindsets. This data deep dive engaged attendees in conversations about how to better serve business owners, including across generations.
Breakout sessions offered an excellent learning opportunity for attendees seeking to expand their knowledge on specific exit planning subjects. These hour-long sessions, led by industry leaders, covered a wide range of topics, including thought leadership, personal planning, establishing an exit planning practice, and many other rich and valuable subjects.
