# Hone Your Skills at EPI’s New CEPA Immersion Events

CEPA Immersion Events are designed to provide [Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA®)](https://exit-planning-institute.org/program/certified-exit-planning-advisor) with actionable insights to expand their knowledge and ability to work alongside their business-owner clients.

The [Exit Planning Institute® (EPI)](https://exit-planning-institute.org/), in collaboration with our partners at [Cultivate Advisors](https://cultivateadvisors.com/), will host these three-hour virtual events every two months, starting May 12. ## What You’ll Learn

### Building Relationships

Led by Casey Clarke, CEO and Co-Founder of Cultivate, attendees will receive unique resources designed for CEPAs guiding clients through the [Value Acceleration Methodology™ (VAM)](https://exit-planning-institute.org/about-us-methodology).

Casey, a former business owner who experienced his own exit, will help attendees incorporate enterprise value and Value Acceleration language into their vocabulary to help fast-track landing new business-owner clients and better serve their current clients.

Advisors will also learn how to differentiate themselves in the crowded marketplace by better understanding how business owners think. This includes how to have more productive and meaningful conversations with clients.

Attendees will get strategies to foster successful relationships. More importantly, they’ll learn how to embed themselves as their clients’ most-trusted advisor, ensuring those relationships last beyond the owner’s exit.

### Put Your Value Acceleration Knowledge Into Action

Building on what you learned in the CEPA course, you’ll leave a CEPA Immersion Event with a trove of playbooks and tools that have helped Cultivate work with more than 3,000 business owners over the past decade.

These tools include ways to uncover growth opportunities within a business and to systematize how you work with owners to set you up for success.

In addition to the strategies, frameworks, and language, attendees will receive three Value Acceleration Knowledge Hours toward the continuing education (CE) required to maintain their CEPA credential. CEPA Immersion Events will be eligible for 3.5 CFP® and CPE continuing education credits as well. 

To earn the full allotment of CE credits, attendees must participate in the full program and each breakout session.

### The When and the Where

CEPA Immersion Events are scheduled to take place every other month and are 100% virtual, providing advisors everywhere with the opportunity to join and learn. These Zoom-hosted events will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM Eastern.

The current CEPA Immersion Event dates are:

- May 12, 2026
- July 14, 2026
- September 1, 2026
- November 5, 2026
- January 6, 2027

A Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) is a professional credential for advisors who wish to engage with business owner clients through the exit planning process using the Value Acceleration Methodology™.
