The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our extensive network of chapters: the Kansas City Chapter! Their expansion signifies our commitment to providing valuable resources and support to advisors, experts, and business owners across diverse communities.
The Chapter's Beginning
Mark Kipp is the President of the Kansas City Chapter. He became a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA ®) in November 2023. Since becoming a CEPA, he saw a need for exit planning in his community. The decision to create the chapter stemmed from the awareness of increasing talent shortages and challenges that businesses in the Kansas City region face due to the arrival of large-scale companies. Moreover, with numerous successful businesses being owned by the boomer and GenX generations, there is an evident demand for skilled advisors to assist them in navigating successful transitions.
Mission of the Chapter
Like many of EPI’s chapters, Mark hopes to have a gathering place for CEPAs and advisors alike where they can share ideas, network, and ultimately meet the demand for skilled advisors the city currently demonstrates.
