The Exit Planning Institute believes that the success of our company is because of our people. This year, EPI was nominated for the Stevie Awards for Great Employers. We are honored to have won a Bronze Stevie® Award for Employer of The Year for Business and Professional Services.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
EPI President, Scott Snider said, “This is our first official international award. I think we have the best team and work really hard to create a great workplace for our employees. It’s one thing to know internally that we have a great culture, but another to be awarded for it on an international scale. Being acknowledged as a Great Employer makes our work very fulfilling.”
More than 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 29 nations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, including Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year, Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year among others.
“In the sixth edition of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, the judges were impressed by all of the nominees, who – during the crises we’ve confronted this year and last – continue to dedicate each day to making the lives of their employees and teams better through training, software, work-from-home plans, and more,” said Maggie Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.
Exit Planning Institute was nominated for these international awards as a result of our dedication towards providing our team with every opportunity for advancement in their career. With this in mind, we have invested over $160,000 in professional development and leadership training for our team this year. This is an increase of 75% over previous years.
Our team advanced our leadership skills through Transformational Leadership Training with InitiativeOne and Decision Dynamics Training with RFN Academy. Our marketing team also completed the DMI Professional Certified Marketer course. As a result of our training, our team collaborated on a new set of Core Values. One of our Core Values is “Purposeful Growth” and we have lived this value every day this year.
EPI teaches advisors about the importance of the Four Intangible Capitals in business. These are Structural, Customer, Social, and Human. Our Human Capital, our team, is one of the strongest components in our business, so we spare no expense in providing opportunities for growth, advancement, and education. This year we expanded our organization and formed an employee leadership team and growth committees to help drive the success of our company.
