The Exit Planning Summit is the premier conference for professional advisors who are committed to accelerating business value, aligning personal and financial strategies for their business owner clients, and meeting the top professionals in the exit planning industry.
While most conferences offer networking opportunities and strong keynote speakers, the Exit Planning Summit goes above and beyond by providing attendees with actionable education they can immediately implement in their advisory practices.
The 2023 Exit Planning Summit begins on Sunday, May 21, 2023. This year the Summit will feature over 35 speakers from a variety of industries.
To kick off the Summit, immerse yourself in the Learning Labs hosted by our trusted industry partners. Learning Labs are a must for any advisor looking for the tools and resources to generate revenue and implement exit planning and value acceleration. Additionally, they offer you exposure to potential key members of your collaborative team and new strategies to implement in your practice.
Meet all our industry partners here.
We are thrilled to have an exceptional keynote speaker for the upcoming Summit. This keynote will share their experience growing a large international business and how value building, exit strategy, and branding can impact your business.
While you might not know this keynote personally, you have no doubt been impacted by their business.
We will announce the keynote speaker in 2023, so make sure you are following The Exit Planning Summit on LinkedIn to be the first to meet the speaker. For now, sit back and chill.
In addition to our Keynote speaker, we will also have two Main Stage Speakers take to the stage during the 2023 Exit Planning Summit. We are pleased to announce that Christopher Snider, CEO of Exit Planning Institute, and Michael Kitces, Chief Financial Nerd at Kitces.com, will lead informative and educational sessions.
Michael Kitces will lead a session on Tuesday, May 23, about the differences in financial firms and how to best grow your practice.
Chris Snider will lead two sessions at the Summit in May. On Monday, May 22, Chris will discuss the Evolution of Exit Planning in the 10 years since the creation of the Value Acceleration Methodology. Chris will highlight the rapid growth of the exit planning industry and share the latest edition of Walking to Destiny: 11 Actions an Owner Must Take to Rapidly Grow Value and Unlock Wealth. On Tuesday, May 23, Chris will lead a collaborative case study group work session.

Power Sessions will take the format of brief and focused presentations, similar in style to a TED Talk, providing actionable education and insight with the goal of continuing to advance and grow the exit planning discipline into a more transformational and valuable experience for business owners and entrepreneurs.
Our goal is to provide thought-provoking, inspiring, and motivational experiences that transform the way we think. In keeping with the theme of this year’s Summit, the Power Sessions will focus on E-P-I, experiences, people, and innovation – three elements we feel are foundational for success in the exit planning space.
This year our Summit attendees have the pleasure of hearing Power Sessions from Michael Schein, Justin Castelli, Michael Sheppard, Meghaan Lurtz, and Ben Utecht.
Based on attendee feedback from our previous Exit Planning Summits, we have updated our Summit agenda to feature a broader assortment of sessions throughout the three-day conference. In addition to our highly-rated Learning Labs and Power Sessions, this year we will introduce Summit Breakout sessions and supplemental workshop programming.
We are excited to share that we have 16 breakout sessions taking place on Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23. These breakout sessions provide Summit attendees with the opportunity to learn introductory education on exit planning topics, learn key business development strategies, and gain a mastery level of understanding of value growth and exit planning.
In addition to our programming from Sunday, May 21 – Tuesday, May 23, we also have two workshops available for attendees to enhance their Summit experience. These deep-dive workshops will highlight areas of great interest for our CEPAs and EPI Community. Join us on Wednesday and Thursday after the conclusion of the Exit Planning Summit and attend one of these fantastic workshops.
