The Final Countdown to the 2026 Exit Planning Summit

Written by Rob DiFranco | Apr 2, 2026 3:00:00 PM

The 2026 Exit Planning Summit will be here before you know it, and now is the time to make sure every detail of your trip is locked in. Whether this is your first Exit Planning Summit or you are a returning attendee, a little preparation can go a long way toward making the most of your three days in Nashville.

Confirm Your Room and Travel

To avoid every traveler's worst nightmare, confirm your flight before the Exit Planning Summit. We recommend booking your flight into Nashville International Airport (BNA), which is just a 15-minute drive from the Gaylord Opryland Resort, with shuttles available to get you there.

If you live within driving distance of Nashville, it might be a good idea to check that your car is up to date on maintenance, like an oil change, and that your tires are good to go. No matter how you’re getting to the 2026 Exit Planning Summit, we want to make sure you are safe doing it.

Once your transportation is set, confirm your room reservation at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, including your check-in and check-out dates, room type, and any special requests. If you are extending your stay for additional networking or personal travel, make sure those dates are reflected in your confirmation as well.

Make a List and Check it Twice

Before you head to Nashville, double-check that you’re registered for any workshops you plan to attend. It’s also a good idea to review the session agenda one more time to map out your schedule so you don’t miss anything you want to catch.

Keep in mind that, if you have a VIP ticket for the Exit Planning Summit, you’ll have access to reserve seating for all main stage sessions, including both of our keynote speakers, Ben Utecht and Tommy Breedlove.

If you don’t have a VIP ticket, you can still upgrade your general admission registration to lock in exclusive access to some of the best networking opportunities available, including the Partners & Pours VIP Social and the VIP Breakfast.

If you plan to attend one of our breakout sessions, make sure you know which session you’re attending, where and when you need to be, and what to expect. These breakout sessions are new to the Exit Planning Summit in 2026 and offer three ways to gain Value Acceleration knowledge, including case study sessions, panel discussions, and lecture-style talks.

Know What You Want to Achieve

Heading into the Exit Planning Summit with clear goals can help you prioritize your time at the Gaylord.

Before you hit the road, take a few minutes to brainstorm what you want to walk away with, whether that’s new referral partners, a clearer plan for implementing the Value Acceleration Methodology™ in your practice, or fresh ideas to serve your business owner clients better.

Pack Your Bags

After you’ve dotted your I’s and crossed your t’s, it’s time to pack your bags. Want to make sure you’ve got everything you need? Find our Exit Planning Summit packing list here to make sure you don’t forget anything to make your 2026 Exit Planning Summit the best it can be.
