Why Growth and Impact Week Matters for Business Owners and Advisors

Why Growth and Impact Week Matters for Business Owners and Advisors

The Exit Planning Institute (EPI®) will bring together advisors and business owners from across Southern California for the first Growth and Impact Week, June 17-19, 2026. This free-to-attend event will feature speakers and insightful conversations focused on deepening connections between advisors and business owners as they work to create value and build more significant companies.

By bringing together leaders from across the exit planning community, Growth and Impact Week will create space for fresh perspectives, stronger connections, and momentum that lasts beyond a single week.

What to Expect at Growth and Impact Week

Meet Owners in Honor

Growth and Impact Week will shine a spotlight on the power of partnership, purpose, and practical action as EPI and Owners in Honor come together to equip Veteran business owners and acquirers with the tools, relationships, and frameworks to build transferable value and exit with intention.

EPI and Owners in Honor will open Growth and Impact Week with a charity social, bringing together advisors, business owners, and Veteran operators to build the relationships that move ownership forward.

Owners in Honor is a national nonprofit founded and led by Veterans, dedicated to empowering Veterans, Service Members, and Military Families to acquire, operate, and exit small businesses — generating enduring economic value, strengthening communities, and preserving legacy through disciplined ownership.

“We want veteran business owners and acquirers to understand that exiting well matters,” says Patrick Flood, CEO and Founder of Owners in Honor. “The military principle is to begin with the end in mind. And so, for us to be able to really make that fundamental with veteran business acquirers, and quite frankly, veteran business starters, so that they understand how important it is to be able to exit well, that's absolutely fundamental.”

Application and Execution

Day two of Growth and Impact Week expands the conversation beyond big-picture strategy and into practical applications. Attendees can expect sessions focused on growing their firm, refining their approach, and strengthening how they serve business owners.

For advisors, day two offers an opportunity to sharpen the practical side of their work. Sessions are expected to focus on ideas and frameworks to improve how they guide clients, strengthen relationships, and create greater impact in the businesses they serve. For business owners, the day offers a chance to step back and evaluate how their current decisions connect to long-term goals, including growth, transition, and legacy.

Connect, Reflect, and Build Momentum

The final day of Growth and Impact Week pulls together the themes and ideas explored throughout the event.

Through expert-led sessions, thoughtful conversations, and purposeful networking, attendees will have time to revisit what they’ve learned and think about how it applies to their own work.

Growth and Impact Week offers attendees the chance to slow down, build meaningful connections, and form relationships that last long after the event.
