by Kellie Nock on June 10, 2025

An Unforgettable Experience
The 2025 Exit Planning Summit was a three-day event filled with valuable education, networking opportunities, and an atmosphere of enjoyment at the scenic Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. From Sunday, May 4, through Tuesday, May 6, attendees experienced a wealth of dynamic discussions and engaging activities that fostered connections among like-minded peers, all dedicated to the essential goal of creating and accelerating value in their field.
During the 2025 Summit, participants had the unique opportunity to learn from a diverse lineup of industry experts who brought a wealth of knowledge and experience. A highlight of the event was the appearance of the renowned seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and partner owner of the esteemed NASCAR team Legacy Motor Club, Jimmie Johnson. With a championship mindset, Jimmie took to the mainstage on Monday morning, sharing his insights and experiences alongside Exit Planning Institute® (EPI) President Scott Snider and the Senior Executive Vice President with Lincoln Property Company, Johno W. Harris. Together, they engaged the audience in an in-depth discussion about the strategies for driving value and the importance of building a lasting legacy.
The Summit also provided numerous resources and solutions labs, breakout sessions, power sessions, and networking events designed to address various industry topics, ensuring that everyone left with practical, actionable knowledge and valuable connections. Participants enjoyed an open atmosphere where they could collaborate, share ideas, and gain fresh perspectives that could be applied to their own practice.
Highlights from the Keynote
On Monday morning, the Keynote address shared with the audience a plethora of insights focused on the theme of creating a lasting legacy. Scott took center stage in this engaging session to share the innovative vision for DriveValue.com. This platform is designed to serve as a comprehensive hub for all things related to the Value Acceleration Methodology™, aimed to empower business owners with tools and knowledge to foster sustainable growth and significance.
Scott emphasized the importance of building a legacy, not just in business, but in life, and shared how DriveValue.com embodies these principles. The collaboration with Jimmie and the dedicated team at Legacy Motor Club was a perfect fit for EPI, leading to the highly anticipated DriveValue.com Race Weekend. This event showcased #42 driver John Hunter Nemechek, who took to the track with DriveValue.com on his car during the Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR Cup Series race.
During the keynote titled “Creating a Legacy: Stories of Transition with Champions,” Jimmie provided an in-depth perspective on his personal journey. He shared the experience of passing the torch, marking his transition from the role of an active driver to that of an owner, which has been a significant shift in his career.
“I spent a lot of time driving in IndyCar and other forms of racing, and now I’m transitioning to this next chapter as an owner,” Jimmie shared during the conversation. “I’ve been extremely inspired and have enjoyed this next chapter of growth in my life.”
His words aimed to resonate, illustrating the challenges of change and the excitement and opportunity that come with new beginnings. This conversation encouraged attendees to reflect on their own journeys and how they could create and nurture their own legacies as they shift from success to significance.
