We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our team at the Exit Planning Institute® (EPI). Meet Scott Derbin, Jacqueline Forsythe, Taylor Haydu, Maggie Hughes, Donovan Muller, Melissa Rabil, and Staci Spicel. These talented individuals bring diverse skills, experiences, and passions to the exit planning community.
Scott joins us as a Sales Development Representative, inspired by the opportunity to join a growing business. "My journey is a little different from most," Scott shared, reflecting on his background in education, city work, and account management. Scott's ability to connect with people on their level has shaped his professional approach. He resonates deeply with EPI®'s focus on employee investment: "The focus and investment in each employee is something I have never been a part of before. It truly makes a difference in everyday workplace culture."
A fun fact about Scott is that he's been to Cuba on vacation, and the highlight of his onboarding has been getting to know his new colleagues. He is excited about growing in his role with the company and looks forward to driving new potential business to the BDM team, leveraging his experience to make a meaningful impact.
Jacqueline was inspired to join EPI by our core value of work-life balance. "Having worked the past six years in a demanding role in the fall protection industry, it became clear that one thing lacking in my life was balance," she explained. Jacqueline brings a wealth of experience, having handled everything from estimating and customer service to project management and marketing. She resonates with EPI’s values of “Collaboration” and “Life Balance”, finding support and rejuvenation critical to her productivity. "Collaboration is key because it allows you to come together as a team to work towards a common goal," she noted.
Jacqueline is a Disney enthusiast who visits Disney World at least twice a year. The highlight of her onboarding has been participating in the CEPA 4.0 recordings. She looks forward to bringing a fresh perspective to product development and making a lasting impact at EPI.
A fun fact about Taylor is her participation in the National American Miss pageant system and her role as Vice President of the Chi Omega sorority. Her onboarding highlight has been the support from the team and taking the Birkman Personality Test. "Looking ahead, I am most excited about the opportunity to dive deep into our social media strategy and contribute to innovative campaigns," she said.
Maggie enjoys playing catcher in a rec softball league and hobbies like crocheting and baking. The highlight of her onboarding was presenting her content plan to management and receiving approval, reflecting the team's appreciation for her input. Maggie looks forward to becoming a part of the EPI community and contributing to its success.
An interesting fact about Donovan is his collection of 15 tattoos, with plans for more. His onboarding highlight was securing a venue for the Marketing Strategy Workshop Days at a significantly reduced cost. "How? I have no clue, but that was a big achievement on my part and a great way to start the job!" Donovan is excited to see EPI's growth and contribute to its rise.
A coffee enthusiast, Melissa enjoys exploring different stores, brewing methods, and flavors, and is currently building a collection of coffee beans from around the world. "The highlight of my onboarding has been getting to know the team and feeling so welcomed. Building strong relationships and seeing how everyone collaborates has been incredibly valuable," she notes, reflecting on her positive start at EPI. She is eager to make meaningful contributions and drive the team's growth through her collaborative efforts.
An avid reader, Staci enjoys suspense thrillers and is expanding her interests to memoirs and non-fiction. She also loves spending time with her family, exploring new places and cultures. The highlight of her onboarding has been "The overall welcoming atmosphere of everyone I work," she notes, was the highlight of her onboarding experience. Staci looks forward to growing in her role, deepening her understanding of CEPA, and contributing to the company's success.
