Happy Thanksgiving from the Exit Planning Institute Team

As the United States celebrates Thanksgiving this Thursday, we wanted to take some time to reflect on what we are thankful for. As a growing organization, we are thankful for the continued support of our trusted industry partners, the connectedness of our CEPA community, and the talents of each member of our EPI Team.

To celebrate Thanksgiving, we are sharing some of the things we are most thankful for this year.

The EPI Team is Thankful For…

Chris Snider, CEO: I try every night before I go to sleep to reflect on three things I am grateful for that happened that day and I say a little prayer thanking God for these blessings. This reminds me and helps me focus on the good things, sometimes even very little things, that happen every day and can often go unnoticed if you are not paying attention.

Scott Snider, President: I am thankful for deep relationships with family and friends. I think this is critical in life for various reasons. And I am thankful that I have a strong family unit with good values and a very close friend group that I would consider family.

Jocelyn Bires, Operations Manager: I am thankful for music, books, and sunny days, all of which bring me joy. I am also thankful for my family, friends, and boyfriend who are always there to love and support me no matter what. Additionally, I am thankful that I have access to education, which provides me with opportunities to continue to learn and grow in both my career and daily life.

Margo Coniam, Office Assistant: I am most thankful for my family and friends. They are there for me no matter what is going on in life. They inspire me to be a better person and make me want to be the best version of myself.

Jesse Hudson, Director of Business Development: I am most thankful for my wife and two children. I love “doing life together” with my wife. And it has been a joy to watch my kids grow and learn this year.

Joe Klauer, Business Development Manager: I am thankful for the ability to travel and explore new places with my girlfriend, Andriana. I am also thankful that my friends and family are healthy, and that we can be together during the holiday season.

Colleen Kowalski, Content Strategist: I am very thankful for my family. After living over two hours away from my parents and sisters for two years, I am grateful they are all less than 10 minutes away so we can see each other more often!

Josh Koza, Business Development Manager: I am thankful for my wife, Ashley, and two young children – Annabeth (3.5 years) and Dawson (5 months). I’ve often described parenting as simultaneously the most exhausting and rewarding experience. Each day is a new, exciting adventure – and I certainly couldn’t handle the responsibility alone!

Scott Lang, Business Development Manager: I am thankful for the community of Rocky River that allows my children to flourish. We have seen both of our kids grow so much this year because of the great school system they attend. We are also blessed that most of our extended family is nearby to celebrate holidays.

Joshua Lewis, Member Experience Representative: I am thankful for the health and safety of my family and friends. I am also thankful to be employed with EPI, a solid company that continues to grow and provide stability. Finally, I am thankful for finding a way to take a passion in my life, dog training, and use it to help other people.

Jenna Meredith, Community Coordinator: I am grateful to be surrounded by friends and family who support me every day! I am also grateful for all of the opportunities I have been given this year, for everyone I have met, and for waking up every day in good health.

Rick Perk, Member Experience Representative: Of the many things I am thankful for, I would have to say that my health is what I’m most thankful for. Been through a handful of surgeries throughout my 34 years, as well as asthma struggles in my younger years. So I believe I am most thankful for good health. Knock on wood it continues.

Katie Robinson, Marketing Administrative Assistant: I am most thankful for all the little things in life; the small simple joys that can brighten your day. Whether it is a polite gesture from a stranger, getting to hit the snooze button for 5 more minutes, or remembering a funny memory, these simple daily comforts give me the “glass half full” attitude to life that makes me grateful year after year.

Chase Ross, Marketing Team Lead: This year I’m thankful that my wife and I were able to become homeowners for the first time. I’m also thankful for new experiences with the people in my life and the time spent with them all.

Kristina Schuerger, Business Development Manager: I am most thankful for the time to spend with friends and family. I am also thankful for warm sunny days and chocolate!

John Weishar, Member Experience Representative: I am thankful for a new happy and healthy marriage. I am also thankful for my family and friends and that I was able to still play a lot of golf this summer while planning for a wedding.

Paige Wysocki, Marketing Manager: I am thankful for all of the walks I was able to take with my husband, Kurt, and our dog, Oliver. I love exploring the neighborhood and all of the new places we discovered.
