Earning the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA) credential provides more than the initial education. The CEPA allows you to position yourself strategically in the exit planning industry. From leveraging the educational offerings of EPI Academy courses to attending webinars, CEPA Think Tanks, and Chapter Events, discover how CEPAs can solidify your success in your practice and better serve your owner clients.
EPI Academy Courses
EPI Academy is Exit Planning Institute’s interactive online learning platform. The platform was designed to allow advisors to easily find the content and education they are looking for to enhance their practice and get the most return on their CEPA credentials. These include recommended learning and professional development plans. Scott Snider says EPI Academy is “continued professional development in a convenient way. It provides advisors with a platform to build and advance their own practice by completing courses at their own pace online.”
Implementing the 120-Day CEPA Playbook
Implementing the 120-Day CEPA Playbook is an expansion of the playbook you receive in your post-CEPA training. Together with Scott Snider, President of the Exit Planning Institute, you will lay the foundation for implementing the training, tools, and knowledge into your practice. Throughout this course, Scott will help you establish the rhythm of your practice and provide helpful hints and key insights from his own experience. You will learn how to build out exit planning practices, service lines, and marketing programs.
Selling to Business Owners
The Selling to Business Owners Course shows advisors how to leverage that knowledge through marketing and business development efforts. This course provides you with a better understanding of how to identify, attract, nurture, and close qualified candidates in your target market. Leaning on the concepts of the Value Acceleration MethodologyTM, three-course instructors specializing in value growth, marketing, and business development respectively, will show advisors how to differentiate themselves from the competition in a crowded, fast-paced market.

CEPA Think Tanks
CEPA Think Tanks virtually every other week and are hosted by the EPI Member Experience Team. These virtual best practice and networking groups allow CEPAs to get introduced to new topics live with experts while integrating best practices through deeper guided conversations with fellow CEPAs from around the world.
EPI Webinars
EPI hosts bi-monthly free webinars with a variety of industry experts, trusted Strategic Partners, EPI Faculty, and EPI Leadership team members. These webinars offer CEPAs, business owners, and others in the exit planning community with a chance to learn best practices, strategic opportunities, and areas for growth within their own practices or companies.
EPI Chapter Network
The EPI Chapter Network creates a forum where the local community of professional advisors can collaborate and address the unique needs of their community. Chapters develop educational programs for business owners and professional advisors that build awareness and better prepare an owner for the successful exit of their business. The purpose of the EPI Chapter Network is to create, encourage, and foster the adoption of best practices in the exit planning profession. Chapters promote the common interests of business advisors engaged in exit planning.
