What are the Essentials For Growing Your Exit Planning Practice?
by Colleen Kowalski on February 24, 2023

Do you know the essential components of a comprehensive exit planning system? Are you aware of your role on an owner’s exit planning team? What about the roles of other advisors and trusted resources? How do you become an owner’s most valued and trusted advisor?
Learn the answers to these questions and more during a free webinar from Exit Planning Institute Partner, Dan Paxton of ExitSmarts. Join us on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EST.
Meet Dan Paxton
After several years in private business, and owning several businesses, Dan Paxton decided to become an EOS Implementer, where he passionately enjoyed helping Business Owners grow the value of their businesses. In 2018, Dan was asked to become a part of an Exit Planning Advisor team: and, upon learning what Exit Planning was all about, Dan became hooked and dived in with his usual entrepreneurial spirit. Saying goodbye to his EOS clients, Dan put his head down and started ExitSmarts – spending three years on product development including over a year in testing – which his wife reminds him were three incomeless years!
Along the way, Dan picked up certifications both from EPI and BEI. Dan loves his transition because at ExitSmarts he gets to work with and help other Advisors and Business Owners. His passion remains with the excitement and satisfaction of helping Business Owners improve the value of their businesses so that they can achieve the transitions that they are after.
Essentials for Growing Your Exit Planning Practice
If your objective in the exit planning space is to work with Business Owners in a way that establishes or strengthens the status of Most Trusted Advisor, first and foremost you will want to be a Quarterback/Coach.
Being a Quarterback is a critical role, but it is just one role. Offering exit planning services to Business Owner Clients means having a comprehensive system into which you can be the Quarterback and all other players.
This webinar will identify all of the components that need to be in place for the Quarterback to be able to hang out an “Exit Planning Services Here” shingle.
We will answer these critical questions:
- What are the essential components of a comprehensive exit planning system?
- What is the Quarterback role?
- What are the other roles?
- What are the processes for all other roles?
- What are the tools needed?
Learning Objectives:
- To understand what is required to be able to offer exit planning services – the essential components
- To understand the Quarterback role and its processes
- To understand the other roles and their processes
