What is The Exit Planning Summit?

We are thrilled to announce The Exit Planning Summit is back! For the first time since 2019, Exit Planning Institute will host the industry-leading conference on Exit Planning! We are excited to welcome hundreds of Certified Exit Planning Advisors in May 2022 for a conference to enhance their exit planning knowledge.

We spoke with EPI President, Scott Snider, about the return of the Exit Planning Summit and what this means for advisors in the CEPA community. 

What is the Exit Planning Summit?

Exclusive to Certified Exit Planning Advisors, the Exit Planning Summit is like the Super Bowl for the exit planning profession. It’s powered by CEPAs and hosted by EPI. It allows the top CEPAs from all over the world to come together to develop deep and meaningful relationships, advance their knowledge in value acceleration, and drive best practices. The Summit is intellectually stimulating, transformational and visionary, strategic growth-oriented, and fun.

Why is it important for advisors to attend The Exit Planning Summit as opposed to other industry conferences?

The Exit Planning Summit is the coming together of the CEPA Community. The best CEPAs from around the world collaborate with their supporting partners and colleagues that are all helping business owners to create more significant companies. CEPAs will develop new or further current relationships, learn best practices, and advance themselves as advisors. Advisors will leave the Exit Planning Summit not only galvanized to accelerate their practice but with the tools and connections to do so.  

What aspects of previous Exit Planning Summits can attendees expect to see this May?

The Summit has always been an event where we take the traditional and combine it with the unexpected. Similar to prior years, attendees will experience unique events like the Charity Giveback Social, CEPA Family Feud, and Power Sessions. We will also have case study workshops and collaborative sessions. The most crucial aspect of previous Exit Planning Summits is the electric and almost reunion-like atmosphere.
