Introducing CEPA Connect

The Exit Planning Institute® (EPI) is always looking for new ways to support and connect the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) community. That’s why we’re excited to introduce CEPA Connect, a new online space designed to help CEPAs stay engaged, exchange ideas, and build stronger relationships throughout the year.

What is CEPA Connect?

CEPA Connect is a brand-new way for CEPAs to stay connected in a community all their own. This new platform is purpose-built for CEPAs who want to stay connected year-round, beyond events like EPI Chapter meetings, Mastermind Groups, and the Exit Planning Summit.

This new forum is a place to start conversations, share expertise, and build meaningful connections with other advisors who truly understand exit planning.

The platform is also designed to make engagement more relevant. Instead of trying to keep up with broad, general professional groups, members can connect with other CEPAs who share similar goals and experiences. That makes it easier to have useful conversations, ask questions, and learn from peers who are working in the same space.

How to Use CEPA Connect

Once you’re in CEPA Connect, visit your profile to ensure all your information is up to date, and add your profile picture. You can also add badges to let other CEPAs know more about you, like if you are a podcast host, an author, or a business owner yourself. Some badges will be added automatically, like “Excellence in Exit Planning Award Winner.”

EPI has created several groups on CEPA Connect that allow advisors to connect with like-minded CEPAs on the topics that mean the most to them.

These include groups for each year’s CEPA class, 2026 Exit Planning Summit attendees, and a special group for job postings. As the CEPA Connect community continues to grow, EPI will add new groups focused on specific shared interests, industries, or other topics.

Why Should You Get Involved in CEPA Connect?

One of the biggest benefits of CEPA Connect is the chance to build relationships with other advisors who understand the CEPA journey and the Value Acceleration Methodology™.

Because CEPA credential holders are part of a broader professional network focused on helping business owners build value and prepare for transition, having a dedicated community can make those connections more useful and more frequent.

It also supports the CEPA network's larger value. The CEPA credential is a way for advisors to deepen their impact with business owner clients while gaining access to education, tools, and a professional community focused on exit planning. CEPA Connect extends that idea by helping members stay connected in between formal programs and events.

Who has Access to CEPA Connect?

CEPA Connect is reserved for CEPAs in the CEPA Plus and CEPA Mastery membership tiers. These two new tiers in the CEPA membership ecosystem provide access to not only the CEPA credential as you currently know it, but also added benefits like CEPA Connect.
