The Exit Planning Institute and our Summit Partners, Strazzeri Mancini, LLP and The Founders Group, hosted the seventh annual Summit Charity Giveback on May 22 during the 2023 Exit Planning Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. During this social, members of the exit planning community collectively raised well over $50,000 in support of the Phoenix Children’s Foundation.
The Phoenix Children’s Foundation
Phoenix Children’s Foundation sees a future in which they make premier pediatric care accessible to every child who needs it, and they need your help to get there. It costs nearly $2.7 million per day to operate Phoenix Children’s. All patients are accepted, and about 50 percent of patient families have little or no private medical insurance. The support of our community ensures that all children have access to world-class health care. And that makes all the difference for kids who are fighting for their lives.
The Charity Giveback Auction
Over 35 items were auctioned off to raise money for Phoenix Children’s. The items auctioned included exquisite jewelry, once-in-a-lifetime travel packages, and sports memorabilia from a variety of professional athletes.
Joe Strazzeri, EPI Chapter President, Faculty member, and 2023 Exit Planner of the Year, even auctioned off a week-long stay at his condominium in Hawaii! Congratulations to Luke Chapman, who won the luxury trip during our Live Auction for $6,000! We hope you enjoy your vacation!
The EPI Experience Package valued at over $16,000, was such a popular item that the Scott and Chris Snider auctioned off two packages for $4,500 each. This package includes:
- Round-trip airfare to Cleveland
- Lodging
- 2 days of workshops
- Owner roundtable Best Practices Workshop with Chris Snider
- Leadership Best Practices Strategy and Vision Workshop with the EPI Leadership Team
- Access to the EPI Member Experience and Marketing Teams
- Enjoy two Dinners with the EPI ownership
- Best seats in the house to a professional Cleveland sporting event with the Sniders

Chris and Scott Snider made a generous donation of $20,000 to the Phoenix Children’s Foundation as well.
Thank you to all who attended this phenomenal event and helped raise funds for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. In the seven years of hosting the Charity Giveback Social, EPI and our community of advisors, business owners, and partners have raised over $217,000 for charitable organizations.
