EPI Continues Growth in 2020 with 4 New Hires
by Exit Planning Institute on January 17, 2020
As you know, exit planning is growing rapidly as the needs of the middle market continue to climb. Exit Planning Institute is proud to support the needs of Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA) and the profession as a whole. This week, we are pleased to announce that our team has grown by four and we’ve added to our Marketing and Member Experience departments!
Meet Jordyn Austin.
Jordyn Austin is a new Marketing Coordinator with a diverse background in content writing. She carries strong technical writing skills and will be lead on all new content being released to our community to better serve the rapidly evolving industry. When meeting Jordyn one of the skills that brought her to the top of the candidate pool was her remarkable talent in professional personal branding. Knowing this is a major area of interest and growth opportunity that you, as CEPA’s, ask for EPI leadership was thrilled to on board a talented Marketing Coordinator with a deep bench of strengths.
Meet Max Humphrey.
On top of being an accomplished sketch artist, Max Humphrey brings advanced technical knowledge to the EPI marketing team, including the ability to program in more than 5 web language. With these skills and ambitions in growing his career in brand and art direction Max supports and champions graphic design and collateral advancements at EPI global (that you will see rolling out in the near future).
Meet Chase Ross.
As an exit planning community we all know with rapid growth comes complication and risk. To address and elevate the EPI brand and invest in ongoing accuracy and reliable information we are pleased to introduce Chase Ross, our first Quality Assurance Coordinator. With project management experience, Chase pays close attention to detail and is the perfect fit for the quality insurance role. As the company grows, so does brand impact, making quality assurance instrumental in assuring future growth.
Meet John Weishar.
Coming in to 2020 Vice President, Scott Snider united the entire EPI global team around the idea of becoming a customer obsessed, member experience focused organization and when interviewing the many member relation executives interested in working with CEPAs like you, John Weishar showcased being the right fit in two was that reshaped how EPI would look at relationships; dedication to providing high-class experiences and focusing on timely solutions to members existing wants and needs. John has a background in VIP client management and is hyper focused on relationship building. John will be a huge asset as a resource to our growing and diverse member base.
The injection of these four creative and high class professionals to our competitive and passionate team, was the first major step of our 2020 strategy in enhancing your overall success in the exit planning community.
We invite you to join us in welcoming John, Jordyn, Max, and Chase to the EPI team!
We are thrilled to announce the addition of these four remarkable professionals and we invite you to connect with them on LinkedIn (John Weishar| Jordyn Austin | Max Humphrey | Chase Ross ) and reach out to any member of our team if there is anything we can do to serve you!

About Exit Planning Institute:
The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) is an education company that provides exit planning education to advisors and middle market business owners. We view exit planning as a strategy, not an event.
EPI leads the professional services profession with the best industry content, ongoing support, and owner education platform, all of which align with our mission: Change the outcome.
Only 2 out of every 10 businesses that come to market actually sell. We want to increase the number of saleable businesses.
Only 30% of family businesses successfully transition to the second generation, only 12% transfer to the third, and the success rates diminish from there. We want to improve those intergenerational transitions.
Of those that succeed in the sale of their business, 75% experience “profound regret” within one year of exiting their business. We want to understand why and create strategies that achieve profound success, wealth, and satisfaction.
EPI is an education company, powered by an elite community of top advisors and owners, all focused toward creating a valuable, transferable future for the business marketplace.
