Excitement is building for this year's Exit Planning Summit. To ensure you make the most out of your Summit experience this year, we thought we would give you an overview of the content, resources, and networking opportunities you’ll enjoy in Marco Island!
Sunday, April 28
The Summit kicks off with two incredible workshops: Mastering the Triggering Event by Christopher Snider and the Second Annual Women in Exit Planning Symposium.
At the Mastering the Triggering Event workshop, creator of the Value Acceleration Methodology, Author of Walking to Destiny, and CEO of Exit Planning Institute, Chris Snider, will provide insights and share his tips to sell, conduct, and deliver a Triggering Event.
At the Women in Exit Planning Symposium, we aim to bring together both women and men in the exit planning community from all different advisor specialties. Join our panel of experts as they share best practices, discuss the unique challenges facing women in the exit planning profession, and how to build value in your business.
Post-workshops, dive into the highly acclaimed Learning Lab sessions. After you check in at the registration desk to collect your Summit Program Workbook and name tag, attend sessions by 16 of our trusted industry partners! These sessions will provide attendees with a wide range of exit planning content and the opportunity to connect with possible referral sources or provide potential tools and resources. After the Learning Labs, we will close day one of the Summit at the Welcome Social.
Monday, April 29
Day two begins with the State of the Institute Address by Scott Snider, followed by the presentation of the 2024 Excellence in Exit Planning Awards to three deserving CEPAs.
Immediately following is the keynote session featuring Gerry O’Brion, author of What Big Brands Know. Titled ‘They Buy Your Because’, Gerry sets the stage for nine breakout sessions focused on introductory education in exit planning, business development strategies, and in-depth understanding of value growth and exit planning.
In the afternoon, the Best-In-Class Exit Planning Advisors panel showcases award-winning advisors sharing their successful strategies and industry insights. This session is a rare opportunity to learn from top professionals in exit planning.
We have built in plenty of time for networking throughout the Summit. During our extended breaks, explore the Exhibit Hall to meet with more than 40 of our trusted industry partners. In addition to our expanded Exhibit Hall this year, we are also welcoming authors to our ThirdAnnual Author Showcase during lunch. During this time, Summit attendees can meet with the authors of some of the EPI team’s favorite exit planning and business strategy books and build their business library!
We close the second day of sessions with our Silver Partners, Strazzeri Mancini LLP and The Founders Group as they present the Charity Giveback Social. This year during both a silent and live auction, we will be raising money for the Nicklaus Children's Hospital. This is the eighth annual Charity Giveback Social and represents the coming together of our EPI network to do good for the community. Attendees will enjoy appetizers, drinks, and live music.
Tuesday, April 30
The final day of the Summit introduces our newest addition, Sunrise Table talks. Followed by our highly rated Power Sessions, Case Study Group Work, and a Main Stage Session from Dan Negroni!
Power Sessions are brief and focused presentations, similar in style to a TED Talk. They provide actionable education and insights to advance and grow the exit planning discipline into a more transformational and valuable experience for all. Our goal is to provide thought-provoking, inspiring, and motivational experiences that change the way we think. In keeping with the theme of this year’s Summit, the Power Sessions will focus on E-P-I: experiences, people, and innovation. These three elements are foundational for success in the exit planning space.
The final full day of the Summit concludes with the Summit After Party Social. Enjoy some hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and live music as we celebrate another incredible Summit!
